CLEARWATER - Since 2024, the development and planning of an official website for the Republic of Athabasca has been in the works. Despite persistent delays in development

coinciding with the restructuring of the Republic internally, Premier Andrew Snye announced early Thursday morning through Athabasca's Directory on Discord that the website would be fully open to the public with limited capabilities. Further clarifying, Snye noted that essential public utilities and information regarding Athabasca would be provided upon launch, including citizenship forms, diplomatic inquiries, Athabasca's land claims, and an in-depth document archive hosted on Google Drive for public accessibility.

Absent from the site's launch were a few pages listed under the 'About' section, including pages to-be-dedicated to Athabasca's currency project, information regarding the Co-Operatives system, mail and stamps, and travel inquiries. When asked, Snye commented:

These are all things that I, along with the rest of the Federal Committee, are excited to show in the upcoming future when these creative projects come into fruition. For now there is not much to showcase, but with the launch of our new site we hope to gain more community interest in these projects. Above all else, they are for them.

Outside the overwhelmingly positive response from Athabascans locally, there has also been praise towards the Republic for it's continued passion and development online from the leaders of aspiring states abroad. V.I. Hewitt of the Union of New Virginia commented on the website's launch, sharing equally the same enthusiasm found at home:

Athabasca is a rising star of a micronation, especially within the sphere of realist and microsocialist projects. Their new website is a remarkably well made example of just how far they’ve come in such a short time. The Union (of New Virginia) looks forward to continued and increased cooperation with Athabasca.

With the launch of Athabasca's website, the future of the Republic of Athabasca is brighter than ever. Domestic opportunities, industries, and careers accessible entirely through the website are planned to be rolled out by early 2026, including speculations of a fully-developed Co-operative program for public entrepreneurs of the Republic. If such speculations are to be believed, then it is entirely possible to see the relatively-young republic begin dominating the broader, global micronational scene by the next year.
